System Of A Down bassist launches new band

Shavo Odadjianknown for being the bassist of the appreciated and personal nu metal band System of a Downsets a date for what will be the debut album of his new formation, Seven Hours After Violetfrom whom you can already listen to two songs.

On October 11, 1336 Records, a sub-label of Sumerian Records, will release the self-titled debut album by the heavy metal quintet led by Shavo Odadjian, which goes by the name Seven Hours After Violet. Odadjian has been best known up until now as the bassist for System Of A Down, but it seems that things are getting serious with this new project.

Although the bassist is not the only member of the band, of course. He is accompanied by the vocalist Taylor Barber (Left To Suffer), guitarist Michael Montoya (Winds Of Plague, and collaborator of Travis Barker, Lil Xan and JuiceWrld), guitarist Alejandro Aranda (American Idol) and drummer Josh Johnson (also in Winds Of Plague).

Last June we heard their first single, “Paradise,” and now it’s time for “Radiance.” In addition to these two songs, the group’s debut album will also include “Alive,” “Sunrise,” “Go!”, “Float,” “Glink,” “Cry…”, “Abandon,” “Gloom,” and “Feel.” But remember, you’ll have to wait until Sumerian Records/1336 Records releases it on October 11.
