SVSTO returns after the publication of his first album “CRISIS” last year, to claim that beauty is found in simplicity. With the publication of “Bar Manolo”, the Barcelona artist wants to transform urban nostalgia into a cry of resistance against the accelerated transformation of cities and the disappearance of certain everyday spaces.
Carla Parmenteralso known for having been part of the iconic duo The Steaksthen celebrates the essence of the neighborhood, of urban imperfections, of everything that feels like it is being lost under modern uniformity.
The song maintains the sound universe that already characterizes SVSTO, with a dark electronic base and an almost hypnotic pulse on which a more melodic and direct chorus emerges. The lyrics also present a touch of irony to defend those details that we take for granted but really matter: “Long live Bar Manolo and long live simple things / Don’t underestimate the power of a tortilla”
The launch also comes accompanied by an intense live schedule during the months of June and July. SVSTO will act in the Primavera Sound he June 6in The Basement of Madrid he June 19in it Morrete Fest in Logroño on June 20, in it Rural Pride on June 26to also play, the next day, in the Pride Costa Brava of Lloret de Mar. Anyway, during the month of July he will return with two dates: one in VIDA Festival of Vilanova i La Geltru the 4th of july and the other in the Cruïlla Festival in Barcelona, on July 11.
