A few weeks ago we informed you about what Cretin Family was going to be, well, finally the concert took place and, although with not excessively good quality, it can be seen on YouTube. Here we tell you more about it.
Cretin Family is a project that was born to participate last Sunday, August 30 in Los Angeles in a tribute event to Ramones, The Official Ramones 50th Anniversary Tribute. Now it has already been celebrated after the also announced presentation of actor John Travolta.
The band has been formed Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day), Travis Barker (Blink-182), Tim Armstrong (Rancid) and CJ Ramone himselfwho was the bassist of the Ramones themselves during their last years.
Finally, the band performed Ramones classics and songs that they covered or are related to the band, with special guests such as Billy Joe’s partner in Green Day, Jason Freese, The Linda Lindas, television’s Fred Armisen and, to top it all off, Billy Idol, who accompanied the band during several songs.
