Supergrass and James, first international names at Sonorama Ribera Day

Sonorama Ribera Day will be celebrated on Saturday August 23 in the Playa de la Virgen del Mar in Santander and now, in addition, we already know the first international artists Supergrass and James.

Sonorama has already confirmed what will be the first two international names of its Sonorama Ribera Day, to be held on August 23 in Santander – specifically on Playa de la Virgen del Mar. And the news is that these are two of the most representative bands of British indie pop rock from two different generations. on the one hand Supergrass –who made their recording debut in 1995 with “I Should Coco”– and on the other James –who released their first album, “Stutter”in 1986–.

Now, as usual, the national scene will have great prominence and the presence of Shinova, Dorian, Repion and Barry B.. Tickets will go on sale tomorrow, Friday, starting at 12:00 p.m. from 39 euros. Let us remember that in the last edition more than eight thousand people saw Placebo, Kasabian, Arde Bogotá or Leona in concert. Sonorama Ribera Day is the “younger brother” of the prestigious Sonorama Ribera, held in Aranda de Duero, which has accumulated more than twenty-six editions.

To facilitate access to the venue, the organization will launch a shuttle system from the city center. Tickets for this service can be purchased at the same time as festival tickets.
