Sugar were active between February 1992 and January 1995, leaving a brief legacy but one that had a lot of impact on the indie rock scene with “Copper Blue”the mini-EP “Beaster” and a second long one called “File Under Easy Listening”. In addition to Bob Mold, the group included bassist David Barbe and the drummer Malcolm Travis. Bob Mold is a legend of American punk rock and independent rock, first as a staple of Hüsker Dülater as leader of Sugar and later with an extensive solo career with several indispensable albums.
