Suede version “Hungry Heart” by Bruce Springsteen

Suede left the listeners of BBC Radio 2 speechless during their live appearance with Jo Whiley by interpreting an unexpected version of the classic “Hungry Heart” by Bruce Springsteen.

The band led by Brett Anderson joined the program to present some of their most iconic themes, but the moment that captured everyone’s attention was its energetic and emotional tribute to the “Boss”. Far from an imitation, Suede reimagined the song with its characteristic glam drama and sensitivity, transforming the 1980 hit into a piece that could well have left its own study sessions.

The result was a fusion between the American spirit of the original and the elegant melancholy of one of the most respected bands of the United Kingdom alternative scene.
