Suede announce the launch of their 10th album, ‘Antidepressants’, facing September 5, 2025, through BMG. It will be the continuation of the remarkable ‘autofiction’, published in 2022. It is said that its visceral live of recent years (in truth they have always had live), all that “passion and vitality”, has inspired the sound of this new album.
A single has been revealed called ‘Dissintegrate’ with video directed by Chris Turner (Favourite Color: Black Productions) in black and white. He wanted to reduce “an action of Suede to its crudest essence, with failures and distortions.”
When presenting Suede’s tenth album, leader Brett Anderson comments: “Si ‘Antidepressants’ is broken music for broken people. ”
The album has been recorded with producer Ed Buller, who worked for the first time with the band when he produced his simple debut, “The Drowners”, in 1992. “It is really exciting to be in this band. It seems that we are still promoting our creativity, ”says Brett on the new album. “This is a panoramic and ambitious album,” adds bassist Mat Osman. “It is a great album for the directs and this causes the group level to rise.”
Suede’s ‘antidepressants’ album will be available in several formats, including CD (standard and luxury), LP-vinyl (standard and color), LP with images, cassette and a luxury box. We leave you with the tracklist of the 2 editions.
