Stevie Nicks will not bite her tongue in her first album in 14 years

Stevie Nicks has revealed that she is working on her first studio album in 14 years. “I am recording an album right now” their words have been exactly, pronounced during their entry in the Pollstar Hall of Fame last Wednesday.

Nicks explains that he began writing his new album “two weeks ago” following the fires of Los Angeles, which forced him to evacuate his house. “I was planted in a hotel for 92 days, it seemed that I was on tour but without giving concerts, I was alone while the rest was still in their homes, and I simply started working.” Nicks says this will be his “ghost disc.”

The one who was a member of Fleetwood Mac says that he has already written seven songs and says that they are “autobiographical” and “that tell real stories.” Above all, it reveals that the letters will be more direct than ever. «In these songs I am not keeping anything, probably for the first time in my life. They are not ethereal and vague songs in which you wonder who they talk to but you don’t understand it. They are real stories of my memories, of fantastic men! ”

The last time Stevie Nicks posted an unpublished material album was in 2011. That year she saw her seventh album, ‘in Your Dreams’. In the last one the live ‘Spellbound’ has been reissued in streaming.

In recent years, Stevie Nicks has launched collaborations with superstars such as Lana del Rey, Miley Cyrus or Gorillaz. At the end of 2024, he said that Fleetwood Mac’s return is extremely unlikely.
