During the last days, the rumors of a possible meeting of Fleetwood Mac have been very present in the networks. All from cryptic messages in the Instagram accounts of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks who, finally, had to do with the reissue of their collaborative album of 1973, ‘Buckingham Nicks’.
Rumors began with a photograph of Mick Fleetwood and Buckingham working in the study, but exploded with publications in Nicks and Buckingham networks. These were fragments written by the lyrics of the song ‘Frozen Love’. “And if you go forward …”, published Stevie, while Lindsey finished the phrase with “I’ll Meet You There.”
A poster in the Los Angeles Sunset Boulevard has shed light over all the mess, revealing both the cover of the reissue of ‘Buckingham Nicks’ and the departure date, on September 19. It is the first time that the album is remastered or digitally released since its publication in 1973. The collaborative album was a commercial failure at that time, but served to be invited to join Fleetwood Mac. The rest is history.
