Stereolab has passed the last years of their career reissued, while their solo members have undertaken different projects. His latest studio album, ‘Not Music’, dates from 2010.
Stereolab’s record drought will end very soon because the British group led by Lætitia Sadier will launch its first work in 15 years on May 23. The album has a very Stereolab title, ‘Instant Holograms on Metal Film’, and is presented with a very stereolab cover and with a very Stereolab single. Everything follows in place.
‘Aerial Troubles’, a first preview that Stereolab fans and some specialized media had already been able to hear exclusively, move with light and immediacy combining danceable grooves, acoustic guitars and psychedelic synthesizers. Sadier sings with his detached style accompanied by choirs that know pop from the 60s. Laurent Askienazy directs the unmissable – and surrealist – video clip.
Stereolab also have a busy concert schedule in 2025 that will bring them to our country next June. On the 6th they will play in Primavera Sound, while on Saturday, June 7, it is up to the Eslava Theater in Madrid. Tickets are now available.
