Specifically, on Friday, October 18, 2024 at the Razzmatazz room in Barcelona and on Sunday, October 20, at La Riviera in Madrid.
According to Live Nation’s press release, “St. “Vincent, known for her versatility and ability to mix different musical genres, will bring us her hypnotic show and demonstrate why she is considered one of the most important and influential artists of the current indie/rock scene.”
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. on Livenation.es and Ticketmaster. However, there will be a pre-sale starting Wednesday, June 26 at 10 a.m. on Livenation.es. The price is €40 (+ distribution costs).
‘All Born Screaming’ has been introduced to us by the fiery ‘Broken Man’ and then the murky, mid-industrial electro of ‘Big Time Nothing’ is playing quite a bit, which retains influences from people like Prince or Talking Heads.
A couple of months ago we had the opportunity to interview St Vincent about this album and he told us: «The catastrophe, that is, losing people we love, the violence of the world, unfortunately, exists. The second part of the album is about this: life is brutal, we lose people, we don’t live forever. But the prevailing message is that – in fact – we have the opportunity to live and to live our lives fully. Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it’s not worth it. For me, the urgency of this album has to do with this as well. I wanted it to be raw, just keep the really important and vital elements in it. And talk about the things that have been happening to me. Losing people is an inevitable part of life.
