Squid cancel their tour due to an accident

The British Squid They have announced via social media that they are forced to cancel their upcoming dates. The reason is the accident of one of their members who has suffered “multiple fractures in the face.”

The idea of the experimental post-punk band is to recover their concert dates as soon as physically possible, but for the moment they have been forced to cancel the part of the tour that was going to take them in the near future to China and Malaysia to present their album. “The Monolith” (Warp, 23). The reason was the accident suffered by one of its members –whose name is not mentioned– which caused multiple fractures in the face and which means that he will not be able to fly for a while on medical advice.

Their first intention was to temporarily replace the musician, but they themselves have given up on the idea, considering that “the nature of our music means that it is really very difficult to create new arrangements in a few days.” And the truth is that those of us who have enjoyed listening to their two albums to date believe them wholeheartedly.
