From the January 29 until February 1 Portuguese cities of Braga, Barcelos, Famalicão and Guimarães will host the first edition of Square Festival.
This is a new event with a professional part, whose vocation is to celebrate and connect the musical talent of the immense area that bathes the Atlantic Ocean: countries in Africa, America and Europe, each with their own idiosyncrasy. Sound Mondo It will be there.
In Square an important part of the Atlantic music industry is going to meet: emerging, professionals and public artists will participate in Showcases, concerts, conventions and sessions of ClubBing. The program has been developed in collaboration with cultural entities, stamps, promoters and festivals of the three continents to participate.
Cultural entities participate in the event such as Hudson Basilica, Buh Records, Riverdown Record, Sinsal, Cosmos and Novas Frequênciasamong others. Among Spanish participants will be Alhambra Monkey Weekand in the concert cycle artists such as La Mallorquina will perform Júia Colom, Rocío Guzmán With his proposal for a new flamenco, and the Colombian based in Spain Julián Mayorga.
