Spring pro announces free talks from Mariliendre, queer and Hinds flavor

Spring Pro has announced the free activities that will take place in Barcelona during the Spring Sound Week. These activities will be carried out in the Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) for free, without reservation and even complete capacity.

A year after the successful talk of Los Javis in Spring Pro, his latest production ‘Mariliendre’ will be in the center of a talk about the future and the present of music. On June 5 at 18.15, the protagonist Blanca Martínez Rodrigo and the directors Pablo Lluch and Vic Mirallas will sit with the moderator Llum to discuss the role of music in the series.

Queer music and culture will give their hands in the event of the next day, June 6, a live and public recording of the podcast ‘Taste to queer’ that will take place in the auditori from 15.30. The conversation of Maria Escaliento, Carmen Picado and David Velduque will dialogue about the challenges and opportunities that queer music in the current digital context is going through.

The protagonists of the third spring talk will be Hinds, who will talk to Jack Coyne, presenter of the YouTube Track Star program, on his latest album, ‘Viva Hinds’ on the same day June 6 at 5:00 p.m. at the Auditori. Carlotta Cosials and Ana Perote will comment on this album that can be the best of her career and has had collaborations of Beck or Grian Chatten of Fontaines DC. In addition, the CCCB will open its doors of June 4 to 6 to celebrate 22 free outdoor concerts, by artists such as Guineu, Remei de CA la Fresca, Oska, Milledenials, OKDW, Xiku or Juana Aguirre. Check the schedules here.
