Spinal Tap will say goodbye definitively with “Stonehenge: The Final Finale”

Right after the second part of “Spinal Tap” has gone through the In-Edit, it is announced “Stonehenge: The Final Finale”a concert film that will hit the screens in 2026 and will mark the definitive closure of the adventure of Spinal Tap

Spinal Tap have announced a final film, which in this case will be a filmed concert, “Stonehenge: The Final Finale”. The film, which will hit theaters in 2026, was filmed in August of this year. In it we will see the first and last concert of Spinal Tap in this emblematic monument. They will have the collaboration of artists such as Eric Clapton, Shania Twain and Josh Groban.

Stonehenge already played a prominent role in the mockumentary original from 1984 “This is Spinal Tap”. This time, the band played their song “Stonehenge” around a ridiculously small copy of the monument.

As in previous installments, Rob Reiner will be in charge of directing “Stonehenge: The Final Finale”. The film will be distributed by Bleecker Street and Vertigo Live. Kent SandersonCEO of Bleecker Street, has already stated that “this is it, this time they are really serious.”
