The Spanish Wavethe internationalization platform for national musical talent of Live Nation Spain, in collaboration with SGAE Foundationbrings emerging talent to the festival Wawes Viennato celebrate the September 7-9.
This time, The Spanish Wave, in collaboration with the SGAE Foundation, will bring a solo artist, a band and a DJ and producer to the reference festival Wawes Viennaone of the most important festivals and professional meetings on the music industry in Central and Eastern Europe. The guests are: Dewel (DJ; Madrid-London), Mabiit (soloist; Madrid) and Montague (band; Barcelona). These artists will perform in different venues in the Austrian city of Vienna during the three days of the event, specifically in Loop, Kramladen and Loft at the main venue of Wawes.
The Spanish Wave will also celebrate its traditional official reception in Vienna for the second time Showcase & Party On September 5th at the Delegates bar at the Wienstation, at 18:15, just after the official opening of the festival, with the intention of welcoming accredited professionals and establishing links between Spanish artists and professionals with the rest of the attendees.
Waves Vienna has established itself, after thirteen editions, as the major music industry conference in Central and Eastern Europe, which every year brings together the most renowned European companies, institutions and professionals in the sector in the Austrian capital. Following last year’s success with the performances of The Crab Apples, Airu and Pau VegasThe Spanish Wave will highlight for the second time the great moment that the Spanish music scene is experiencing at Waves Vienna. This year, “the Spanish Wave” has also reached The Great Scape in Brighton (United Kingdom) and is scheduled to do the same on September 20 at the Reeperbahn in Hamburg (Germany).
The Spanish Wave is a project for the internationalisation of Spanish talent that aims to help export emerging artists and bands from our country, participating with “showcases” in the most important fairs, showcase festivals and musical events in the world, with the presence of professionals from the national and international industry. It works closely with booking agencies, record labels, and promoters both national and international. The Spanish Wave has partners such as AIE, the SGAE Foundation, Instituto Cervantes, Live Nation Spain and Mondo Sonoro.
