The platform of streaming SoundCloud announces that it will begin paying its artists with 100% of the distribution royalties of their music.
Although we can currently enjoy all types of music on large platforms, the reality is that they do not always reward their artists fairly. Therefore, SoundCloud has created two new categories to its Artist and Artist Pro subscriptions.
With this proposal, the platform streaming audio will allow artists to retain all of their distribution royalties. They define this new initiative as “the most artist-first subscription on the market.” This is the only plan that gives musicians the tools they need to distribute, monetize and grow their audience, all in one place.
“SoundCloud has always been about putting artists first. With this launch, we take that mission a step further by offering artists a truly comprehensive subscription, including no-nonsense distribution, a barrier-free community and uncompromising monetization, including direct support from their fans.said the CEO of SoundCloud, Eliah Seton.
