The cycle Sonorama Is Also Written returns to Madrid this April with a new edition that once again explores the link between music and literature.
Organized by Sonorama Ribera and the School of Writersand led by the journalist Fernando Navarrothe cycle began on April 20 and will have two more dates on April 27and the May 12 at Café Pavón.
The proposal maintains its objective of generating a space for dialogue where musicians share their creative process, reflect on the importance of lyrics and analyze the relationship between music and writing. A format that, in previous editions, has featured figures such as Zahara or Iván Ferreiro.
In this new edition, the poster is made up of Marc (Dorian) (who was the protagonist yesterday Thursday),Josele Santiago (April 27) and Tulsa (May 12)who will share with the public their experiences around the composition and meaning of their songs.
Each session starts at 6:00 p.m., consolidating a format that has become one of the most unique meetings within the Sonorama universe. In addition, the cycle traditionally culminates in Aranda de Duero during the festival, where writers reflect on music from their own perspective.
With this new edition, Sonorama Also Se Escribe reaffirms its role as a bridge between disciplines, offering a different look at artistic creation and the value of the word within contemporary music.
