Sónar reveals a third of the programming for its new stage

The Barcelona festival Dream begins a new stage with the announced changes in its management leadership. Looking at the list of artists that the festival has just announced, it is clear that the musical line of recent years is maintained.

Sónar will take place next year between June 18 and 20, 2026 and it will do so for the first time in a single venue, located in Fira Barcelona (Gran Via headquarters, in L’Hospitalet), with an unprecedented three-day format and uninterrupted music during the afternoon and evening. Meanwhile, Sónar+D will be held in the city of Barcelona and will also expand its presence at Fira Gran Vía with immersive installations, digital art and interactive proposals. The 14th International Meeting of Innovation, Creativity and Technology maintains its discursive program as a meeting point for professionals in music, creative technologies and cultural innovation.

Now a third of the artists who will make up the performance schedule have been announced, which will feature more than one hundred shows distributed over the three days. The list of names that has been released has Kelis, Skepta –who will be presenting his new album, “Fork & Knife”–, Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Boys Noize Modeselektor, the precursors of industrial synth-pop and references for several generations of electronic artists Cabaret Voltaire and Nia Archives as main names, although we can also see Julianna Barwick & Mary Lattimore, WhoMadeWho, Ascendant Vierge and 30dropas well as with the DJ sets of Chris Stussy, Sammy Virji, DJ Gigola, KETTAMA, Joy Orbison, Noize, Ogazón, ISA, Clementaum b2b LAZA, Alba Franch and more.

This advance marks the artistic direction of this new stage of the festival, with François Jozic as director of the festival, which maintains its main hallmarks and, once again, combines the most diverse musical genres, always related to electronic music.
