Snail Mail previews their next album with “Dead End”

Snail Mail has announced his first album in five years, “Ricochet”and advances it with the publication of the single “Dead End”.

The American has announced her long-awaited third album, “Ricochet”, which will come out on March 27 via Matador Records/Popstock. This is their first album in five years, after the publication of “Valentine” in 2021where the artist returns with a more mature and deeper sound. Composed of 11 songs, all of them reflect anxiety and acceptance, in a much more introspective process. The album has been recorded together with the producer and bassist Aron Kobayashi Ritch.

Along with this announcement, the first single that previews the album has already been published. “Dead End” explores a grunge sound with intense guitars that reflect the intensity of the adolescent stage. The song is accompanied by a video clip directed by Elsie Richter with the artist herselffilmed in rural North Carolina.

Lindsay Jordan debuted her project Snail Mail when she was just 18 years old. The publication of his first album “lush” in 2018, took it to the top of charts around the world. After him, “Valentine“, in 2021, established her as one of the most prominent voices in recent years. Now, after five years, she returns with a much more mature sound on her third album, scheduled for March.
