Slowdive has announced two dates in Spain. The British band will perform on Monday, February 5 in Barcelona (Razzmatazz) and on Tuesday, February 6 in Madrid (La Riviera), within the framework of their European tour.
Tickets will be on sale at DICE starting November 8 at 10 a.m. at a price of 36 euros plus distribution costs.
The reason for Slowdive’s visit to Spain is of course to promote ‘everything is alive’, their latest album. It is one of the best albums of his career, and one of the best albums of 2023.
A few months ago, Slowdive spoke with JENESAISPOP about ‘everything is alive’. In the interview, guitarist Christian Savill talked about “the pejorative” of the term shoegaze, the influence of Beach House on his music or the possibility of Slowdive recording a sixth album.
“We basically have a year of touring ahead of us, but I think we would like to make another album,” the musician said then. «We never plan these things in advance. “Probably, once we’ve done some gigs, we’ll consider it.”
