“Silence Glaciel” is included in the first album of the San Sebastian quartet Acronymwhich sees the light on January 24.
We premiere “Silence Glaciel”, the new single from Acronymwhich is part of the group’s first album called “Remains”. The album, which will be released on January 24, is an EP that consists of six very melodious songs, with a common thread, but very different from each other.
“Silence Glaciel” is the only song sung in French on the album, and its video clip, directed and performed by Borja Pérez aka avboyis a psychedelic performance of the song in the purest KEXP style, being a fake live performance, as was done in the seventies.
Acronym is a group from Donostia formed in 2022 by María, Jéssica Luis and Diego. They come from different groups such as Las Penas, Mushroom Caffeine, Impacto Vudú… Their music is a mix of garage, pop, punk and psychedelia, listening to them is finding everything positive about the beginning of a good day and the melancholy of ending it . Enthusiastic choruses, vocal harmonies, absorbing chords with distortion and enveloping keyboards. At the end of January 2025 they will publish their first EP called Despojos, recorded in Bonberenea by Karlos Osinaga. Among their references we find groups like Trinidad, the Velvet Underground, Porridge Radio, The Dirtbomb… Without a doubt, freshness accompanies them.
