On May 24 and 25, the spring edition of Sierra Sonora will be held in the beautiful Rioja town of Viniegra de Abajo with almost a dozen performances.
After celebrating its winter edition at the beginning of March, the Rioja cycle-festival Sierra Sonora It will return on the 24th-25th with its spring edition in the beautiful surroundings of Viniegra de Abajo. En Tol Sarmiento, Valira, Idoia, Nøgen, Mutagenicos, Broken Brothers Brass Band, Awakate, Tangerine Sistas and David Van Bylen They will be the main bands that will display their music in the magical corners of the town. As described by the organization, “Magical settings, surrounded by nature, with an intimate soundtrack that encourages us to soak up the power of the environment and value what we have. The traditions, gastronomy and culture of the rural area of Rioja come into play in communion in Sierra Sonora”.
Likewise, attendees will be able to enjoy activities such as a free free tour of the town with the traditions, anecdotes, legends and other curiosities of this special place, gastronomy (wine, craft beer, snacks…), showcooking with Muchachita Pasteleria, a sound route (with a walk through the forests and enjoying its color and flavors)… and with a camping and caravan area.
This juicy experience will return in August with its summer edition and performances by The Child of Elche, First Breath After Coma, Anna Colom and Venturi. And finally, it will say goodbye to its 2024 edition in October with the music of Emilia and Pablo, María de la Flor and Mr. Pendejo.
