Sidonie present “Catalan Graffiti” in her native Barcelona

Sidonie They presented their new albumCatalan Graffiti” (25) to the press, friends and fans, with the creation of a graffiti of the album cover on one of the walls of “Els Jardins de les Tres Xemeneies” in Barcelona.

Catalan Graffiti” (25) is the first album of Sidonie written and sung entirely in Catalan in these more than 20 years of the band’s career, having started their career in English to later switch to Spanish. An album that opens a new perspective in their career and that is resulting in a kind of battery recharge within the band that is especially excited about this new stage.

Last night the group celebrated the imminent release of the album by singing some songs from it, in acoustic and street format, such as “baby” either “HE”, and other of his myths such as “You are here” in Els Jardins de les Tres Xemeneies. Subsequently, they passed by the Apollo Room to pose with the promotional photograph of his next concert on February 27. They will also be in Madrid he February 6 in it Eslava Theater.

An exceptional evening that brought together many of their fans and team, and which culminated with a midnight toast in tribute to the album’s release. An album that maintains and delves into the power-pop coordinates of the trio who have found in their mother tongue an ally to enhance their repertoire. Very soon we will publish on this same website the interview we had with the band and which will give many more clues about the album’s conception process.
