Sidonie invites Mujeres and Russian Ladilla to “The Texas Massacre”

An unexpected collaboration, but one that works. Sidonie They have invited two other Barcelona bands to join their song “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”. Is about Women and Russian Crab.

Marc Rossvocalist and guitarist Sidonie, has written a song about how complicated some relationships can be. For this she has turned to one of the bloodiest cinema classics, “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” (Tobe Hooper, 74), although he also cites others such as “The Shining” (Stanley Kubrick, 80). The story of a relationship in a wild and at the same time fun way.

But the big surprise is that, to give it shape, the Barcelona trio invited two very different bands but that fit perfectly into the song. It's about the trio Women and of the shameless Russian Crab. And the most curious thing is that the video clip has been directed by Mujeres themselves – who have connections with the world of cinema and comics –, who immerse Sidonie's universe in that lo-fi aesthetic from which they know how to get so much use visually. .

The song is now available on all platforms and, at the moment, it is not clear if it will be part of a new Sidonie album or it will be a collaborative single to make us sing after her album from last year, “Marc, Axel and Jes”.
