The most beloved sugababes all over the world, Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhán Donaghy, are determined to come with everything. This year they had already published a theme called ‘Jungle’, a R&B ballad entitled ‘Weeds’ and now they have just taken a ‘shook’ that is the best cut of the three. It is our determined song of the day today.
Covered in the electropop vein that partly identified Sugababes -in our forum the user Me_adri has already branded it “The Push The Button of 2025” -, the production improves quite much seen in ‘Jungle’.
It is worth asking if Big Softy’s addition as co-producer has laid well to this particular issue, because it sounds somewhat less Maquetero than Jon Shave’s work alone. This appears as a producer on the three themes that we have so far, but only in ‘Shook’ shares credits of a subject that, in any case, if vibrates, it is because of the melody of Mutya Keisha Siobhan.
For the rest, ‘Shook’ has no more object than becoming one of the summer Bangers, at least for all nostalgic that will enjoy sugababes in the 2000s. It is a mating issue in the disco, because “everyone bores me to 20 seconds” but it gives someone who has something … I’M Shook!
Perhaps its greatest rarity can be that second verse, a true smoked, literal, in which Riman Nirvana with “marijuana” and also with Madonna: “Do you wanna dance to Madonna? / Hold My Hand, Let’s Reach For Nirvana ». A fool, intoned in ecstasy, which gives personality to what is usually the most forgettable stanza of a pop song.
