Shakira’s high with ‘Dai Dai’; Taylor, top 47 in Spain

With no news in the 1st and 2nd positions of singles in Spain, which continue to be dominated by Quevedo with ‘La graciosa’ and ‘Al golpito’, the news is the rise to the top 3 of Jay Wheeler and Omar Courtz with ‘De lejitos’. We already told you about that last week.

What we didn’t see coming was that ‘Dai Dai’ would end up in the top 10 in Spain. Shakira and Burna Boy’s World Cup song started “flopping” very strongbut it has been climbing as the event approached and can now be considered a summer hit. Not only in our country: it has also just climbed to Spotify’s global top 11 after its performance at the inauguration.

Which countries are most excited about ‘Dai Dai’? The song is number 1 on Spotify in Belgium and Holland, and number 2 in Germany. Sweden also has it in the top 6. On the contrary, in the USA it has a long way to go to enter the lists, unlike what has happened in Canada, where it has managed to be top 35 on Spotify. In the British midweeks, ‘Dai Dai’ climbs to 26th place today.

Taylor Swift has been number 1 in the United Kingdom with ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’. It is also top 1 in Australia, Austria and Germany, while in France it has been in the top 10. But in Spain it has aroused less enthusiasm: it is only 47th. We will see if the premiere of ‘Toy Story 5’ this week encourages it.

The only other entry of the week in our country is ‘You were right’ by RVFV at number 77.
