Shakira saves the day in a somewhat austere Copa América

While Europe was focused on the Euro Cup final, which ended with a victory for Spain, the Copa America was being held on the other side of the pond. Miami hosted the match between Argentina and Colombia, with the former winning. Shakira performed during the break.

Not content with sweeping the Super Bowl alongside Jennifer Lopez, offering what was perhaps the best halftime show in history, Shakira took the stage to deliver a medley of hits led by her biggest hit ever, ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ and the nods to Colombia that were already seen during the NFL halftime show.

After ‘Hips Don’t Lie’, Shakira performed ‘Te felicito’ without Rauw Alejandro, but with some robot dancers; and ‘TQG’ without Karol G, although she was not far behind.

Finally, when it seemed that the climax was going to be the session with Bizarrap, with a somewhat football-themed theme, the final song was ‘Puntería’. A small coitus interruptus. Although if someone doesn’t like it enough, they can review OneRepublic’s performance at the Euro Cup. Not everything can be the Super Bowl…

In other news, Karol G sang the Colombian anthem, Abel Pintos sang the Argentine anthem, and Feid and Maluma also performed.
