Shakira does not support any politician in Colombia

Following some “fake” images that have appeared online, Shakira has decided to make a statement about the upcoming presidential elections in Colombia. In the images that have been erased, he supported Iván Cepeda, of the political party Pacto Historico, which brings together parties and movements from center left to left.

The artist has issued a statement in which she is blunt about this: «the images that circulate about me supporting presidential candidates are false. “I neither support any candidate nor have I authorized the use of my image in any campaign.”

Furthermore, he continues to ensure that “his commitment is to Colombia, to its democracy and to the right of every Colombian to choose freely.” He continues: “my wish is that these elections take place with transparency and in a peaceful environment for all Colombians.”

Shakira is in the news lately for ‘Dai Dai’, her song for the World Cup with Burna Boy, which has already risen to number 28 in Spain after a timid entry on the charts. Furthermore, his residence in Madrid is highly anticipated, for which there are still some tickets for sale.
