Sex Pistols will release three American live shows from 1978

Taking advantage of his return to the stage with Frank Carter as a vocalist, Sex Pistols They will publish for the first time three albums that collect live concerts from 1978, the last of the band’s first stage.

The albums include shows that the quartet performed in Georgia, Texas and California from the tour. “Live In The USA 1978”their last in almost two decades and in which they presented their iconic 1977 album “Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols”. During the tour they presented hymns from their repertoire such as “God Save the Queen”, “Bodies” and Anarchy In The UK. The latter was renamed “Anarchy In The USA” for the live performance.

The three shows include the Sex Pistols’ set at South East Music in Atlanta on January 5, a stop at the Longhorns Ballroom in Dallas on January 10, and a show at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on January 14. In any case, let us remember that the group met again in 2006 and that last 2024 they returned with a formation in which they have invited Frank Carter as a vocalist. They are currently immersed in a tour that will pass through our territory.
