Sex Pistols, Thirty Seconds To Mars and Refused, confirmations of Tsunami Xixón

The Asturian Xixon Tsunami It has become on its own merits one of the essential rock festivals in our country, with special attention to hardcore and punk rock. Now it presents the first names of its 2025 edition, to celebrate the days July 18 and 19.

As we said, the Xixón Tsunami has become one of the must-see events for guitar fans, be they punk, rock or indie rock. He has achieved it with his efforts and this new edition is not going to be an exception. How can it not be when the first names announced are neither more nor less than Sex Pistols –with the original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock with Frank Carter as a vocalist–, Thirty Seconds To Mars –the band led by the actor as well Jared Leto and his brother – and the Swedes Refused –on his final farewell tour, “Refused are fxxking dead”–?

We can see all of them among the July 18 and 19 in it Hermanos Castro Park in Gijónalthough there are still many interesting names to be announced. But now you have to get the tickets and it’s something you should do quickly if you don’t want to run out.

The first tickets will go on sale next Wednesday, October 30 at 12 p.m. in www.tsunamixixon.com.

Let us remember that the festival once again has the support of Vibra Mahou and that it also has a series of parallel and free activities in different spaces in the city throughout the year. Proof of this are the “Cimadevilla Skatepark Concerts” and the film series: Tsudocu, oriented towards documentaries about the world of music, and Impossible Concerts, a series of concerts projected on the big screen. Likewise, the list of free activities will be expanded, but that will be announced in the near future.
