Just a few months ago, Serj Tankian – a System of a Down – published that until now is his latest job, the EP “Foundations”but it already has a new material ready and has presented it in society with the acoustic theme “Electric Dreams”, which you can already listen to on platforms.
This new work will be titled “Covers, Collaborations & Collages” And you will see the next October 24. And what do we know about him? Well, it is a compilation of songs that Tankian had filed without seeing the light, some unpublished collaborations and even versions, hence the launch title.
They will be total ten songs in which we will find ourselves from versions of “I’m counting on you” (Chris de Burgh) or “When Death Arrives” (from Armenian Ruben Hakhverdyan) to unexpected collaborations such as those of the Neozyos Bic Runga or the Canadian electronic producer Deadmau5.
That does not mean that the Armenian-American musician has set aside his concerts with System of a Down, in fact tomorrow they will be acting in New Jersey (United States) next to Korn, to later share a poster with Avenged Sevenfold, Deftones and Polyphia.
