We have previously reported on the race of Sergio Sastre (Miss Caffeina) alone under the name Kings. Well, now their EP is out. “YEMINAI” (Hook/Altafonte, 24).
In addition to being co-founder, guitarist and keyboardist of Miss Caffeina and composer or producer for other artists such as Dani Fernández or Carlos Sadness, Sergio Sastre directs his own solo career under the name Reys. Theirs is a proposal that always moves within the margins of pop, although approaching electronic or more organic sounds depending on the specific topic. Songs like “Disparehere”, “Baila BB” or “I don't have a heart” make it clear.
To give shape to these songs, Reys has faced his fears because “It is a process that by its nature forces you to face yourself and lay your insecurities bare to face them. That path makes you go through states that range from euphoria to disappointment in minutes, an ordinary day for a very Gemini.”
And to round out your material, nothing better than adding friends who contributed their voices as Asier Martí, Maddi Alma, Dellacruz or their production skills and other study tasks such as Guille Mostaza, Diego Perinetti or Iñaki de las Cuevas.
