‘Smile because you’re in the photo’ by Sergio Dalma promises to be one of the best-selling albums of Christmas, as has happened so many times throughout his career. The new album by the ‘Bailar Pegados’ singer is a direct entry at number 1 in Spain, displacing Bad Bunny’s latest album. Of course, Sony has not certified it as a gold record yet. We’ll see what happens in the coming weeks.
The second strongest entry is ‘Lveu: live yours… not mine’ by Myke Towers, straight to the top 3. The album includes the macrohit ‘Lala’ in addition to 22 other songs, which has not been enough to beat Bad Bunny.
The entries in the top 10 are completed with ‘Del rosa al yellow’ by Hombres G in position 5, and ‘This Life’ by Take That in position 10. As you know, this album has been one of the best-selling albums of 2023 in the UK, shipping more than 100,000 CDs in one week.
Other entries of the week have been ‘Plastic Heart’ by Paco Candela (33), ‘Queen of rock ‘n’ roll’ by Tina Turner (36), ‘Bomb of smoke’ by Bely Basarte (65), ‘Ugly strong y formal’ by Loquillo y Trogloditas (71), ‘Kylie’ by Kylie Minogue (74), ‘Mujer (30th anniversary)’ by Marta Sánchez (95) and ‘What can go wrong’ by Muchachito Bombo Infierno (98).
