From July 4 to 28, the central square of Matadero Madrid will once again offer its open-air screening cycle CinePlaza. Among the confirmed events is the screening on July 18 of the film ‘In Bed with Madonna’ commented by Sebas E. Alonso and Claudio M. de Prado, hosts of the JENESAISPOP podcast Revelación o timo. ‘In Bed with Madonna’ will be screened from 10:15 p.m. Tickets are available at a price of 5 euros.
‘In Bed with Madonna’ is the famous documentary about Madonna recorded during the Blonde Ambition Tour, which, released in 1991, brought the world closer to the intimacy of Madonna, then the most important pop star in the world, decades before social networks existed.
Among the confirmed sessions for the Matadero summer cycle, it is also worth mentioning the screening of Marta Sánchez’s film ‘Supernova’ on July 11, commented by Juan Sanguino. There will also be screenings of ‘Paul McCartney: Get Back’ on July 5; ‘Under the Cherry Moon’, by Prince, on July 7; ‘Buena Vista Social Club’ on July 13, and ‘Pink Floyd: The Wall’ on July 27.
