MUWI La Rioja Music Fest announces the schedules of each of the artists who will participate in this 8th edition.
Returns late August – early September MUWIthe Riojan festival recognised in the latest international Iberian Festival Awards in the category of Best National Cultural Programme 2024. The Riojan capital will feature performances by more than thirty artists who will fill the different locations, starting with the history surrounding the Muralla del Revellín and continuing to the other side of the Ebro River in the centuries-old Bodegas Franco-Españolas or the famous and busy Calle Laurel.
The festival will begin on Thursday, August 29 with Kurluzz Djs providing atmosphere and entertainment between concerts from 7:15 p.m. At 8:15 p.m. the Alfareños will take to the Ibercaja Revellín stage A thousand Cordobasto later give way to the female trio Sharkand the “killer duo” will close the concerts of the first night Coyote Girl and Tornado Boy.
On Friday, August 30, the cultural activity takes place at Bodegas Franco-Españolas with the young Ghouldajboy opening the main stage Bordón at 19:00h. Saturday, August 31 is the day with the most artists on the MUWI 24 lineup. It will start at 2:00 p.m. in La Laurel with VerMUWI and the traveling show of The Vile Scoundrel and the sessions of Lugg and Ipu Dj. It will continue in the cellars with Bulego opening at 7:00 p.m. The folkloric agitator Rodrigo CuevasNational Prize for Contemporary Music 2024, will put all their passion at 9:45 p.m. to then give way to a group with 20 years of experience, and who fill every concert they give with songs from today and always, Amaral. Sunday, September 1st will be the last day of the festival, opening the doors of Bodegas Franco-Españolas at 11:00 a.m. as it is the most anticipated day for families. It is worth highlighting the midday performance of Amadeus MUWI Bandthe live of Smile At 2:00 p.m., the energy of The Zigalas and the closing of the concerts on the Bordón Stage with Tiger Mussels. Not forgetting the children’s workshops and Lindy Hop scheduled during the day, as well as the MARKET space that can be enjoyed during the three days of the festival.
Day tickets are on sale on the festival website and at the Ibercaja ticket office at a price, including expenses, of €45 for the concerts on Friday 30 August and Saturday 31 August, and €12 for Sunday 1 September. The three-day ticket costs €73, including expenses.
