Sault have released their thirteenth full-length, which features the production of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
The R&B and funk collective led by producer Inflo is back with “Chapter 1”, her thirteenth album, which features collaborations with the singer Cleo Solthe singer-songwriter Jack Penate and the producers jimmy jam and Terry lewis. The album was released last January 9 and has ten songs: “God, Protect Me From My Enemies”, “Chapter 1”, “Fulfil your spirit”, “Protector”, “Good Things Will Come After The Pressure”, “Create Your Prophecy”, “Love Does Not Equal Pain”, “Lord Have Mercy”, “Don’t Worry About What You Can’t Control” and “Puppet”.
Since its acclaimed full-length “5”, the group has launched by surprise more than a dozen projects under the seal Forever Living Originals from Inflo. In a statement accompanying the album, the group noted that the album “moves with patience and conviction. Rhythm, breathing and silence come together, creating a reflective space but at the same time charged with energy. There is warmth and expectation. A feeling that something is brewing.”
On the other hand, in 2025 Inflo was sued by his regular collaborator Little Simz for the alleged non-payment of a $2.2 million loan to cover the costs of Sault’s first concert, in December 2023.
