Sabrina Carpenter moves herself from No. 1 overall

Sabrina Carpenter climbs to number 1 on Spotify Global with 'Please Please Please', the second single from her upcoming album. Amazingly, Carpenter moves herself from the top, since the previous number 1 was 'Espresso', which drops to 2. That is, Carpenter has right now the two most listened to songs in the world, number 1 and number 2.

'Please Please Please' and 'Espresso' compete among themselves to be Carpenter's most listened to song on Spotify globally, being the only two songs on the entire list that exceed 11 million daily reproductions. 'Please Please Please' is making 11 and a half million and 'Espresso' just over 11 million, although the merit of 'Espresso' is greater, as it was released two months ago.

The setting is ideal for Carpenter to score one of the most successful albums of all of 2024. 'Short n' Sweet' comes out on August 23 and, for now, includes two macrohits that will be heard a lot this summer, one after the other. It seems incredible that 'Short n' Sweet' is going to be Sabrina Carpenter's SIXTH album. The previous one, by the way, was not bad at all.
