Today, January 9, RTVE has revealed the three new presenters of Benidorm Fest. Ruth Lorenzo, Marc Calderó and Ana Prada will be in charge of conducting the contest during the semifinals on January 30 and February 1, and during the grand final on February 3.
Lorenzo, who already represented Spain in Eurovision in 2014, with the song ‘Dancing in the Rain’, will return to television in 2024 with Benidorm Fest, after his time on the television grid last year presenting ‘Cover Night’.
For his part, Marc Calderó is known for presenting ‘It’s already midday’ on Telecinco, and Ana Prada for working as a reporter on TVE.
Therefore, neither Mónica Naranjo nor Rodrigo Vázquez will repeat at Benidorm Fest, but Inés Hernand will, who will already present the 2022 edition with Alaska and Máximo Huerta, and then the 2023 edition with Naranjo and Vázquez. This time, Hernand will host with Aitor Albizua the ‘La Noche del Benidorm Fest’ space on La 1 after the two semi-finals and the final.
On the other hand, RTVE has announced the names that will be part of the Benidorm Fest jury. Beatriz Luengo, Guille Milkyway, Ángela Carrasco and Carlos Baute will sit in the chairs of the national jury. For its part, the international jury will be made up of Lee Smithurst, David Tserunyan, Twan van de Nieuwenhuijzen and Nicoline Refsing.
