rusowski and Bb trickz is one of the most unexpected collaborations of the year. The visionary member of Russia IDK has his first full-length project on the way and it wouldn’t be crazy to think that this new single is part of it. ‘uwu^^’ is a great mix of two styles that couldn’t be more different and our Song of the Day.
‘uwu^^’ is another mutant work by Rusowsky in which we don’t know what is a chorus, what is a bridge and what is a verse, but it doesn’t matter if the melodies are as good as these. “The kiss of your love is a dagger / And the soul is full of thorns,” Russian sings, setting the tone of the song, on a base composed of timid electric guitars and glitch touches in keeping with the collective.
Bb trickz doesn’t take long to appear with his characteristic style that, surprisingly, doesn’t look bad at all on a song as melancholic as this one. “Your cock is enough for me / You are my side ho, AKA my love,” he says. Only she knows how to maintain the balance between obscene and cute so well. Later, she gets serious: “Don’t talk to me about love, my heart is cold, cold / I want to fall in love, but I never get it.”
In the video clip, as abstract as it is magnetic, Bb trickz manages to buy a jug of fresh milk with his precious ‘racks’ so Rusowsky can clean his hands with it. The image is strangely hypnotizing.
