RUSLANA is relaxed and personal pop rock in ‘WHO AM I’

Ruslana has sold out all the tickets for the GÉNESIS Tour in just two hours, even before the album is released. For the moment, she continues with her proposal to vindicate pop rock in Spanish. ‘QUIÉN SOY’ is her most personal song to date.

Produced by Pablo Rouss, ‘QUIÉN SOY’ begins with a sweet acoustic guitar that quickly fades away to make room for the singer’s favorite style, which suits her perfectly. “Tell me where I am and I’ll tell you who I am / I’m still me,” sings the 19-year-old artist. In the press release, the song is described as a “song of personal discovery” and with a “therapeutic” part.

In Ruslana’s own words, ‘WHO AM I’ is a “reflection on oneself”, on the “place where we really feel like ourselves” and on what “we consider home”: “It has to do with the people who surround us at different times in our lives,” she concludes. On the other hand, the video clip is based on Ruslana’s two personalities: the angel and the devil.

The GÉNESIS tour will take Ruslana to Granada, Seville, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Oviedo, Vigo, Tenerife, Madrid, Bilbao and Valencia.
