The songs aspiring to win Benidorm Fest, and therefore to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest, will be officially announced this Thursday, December 14. However, some have appeared leaked online, especially in X, in whole or in part.
RTVE has communicated that it will take legal action, through the same social network, formerly known as Twitter: “After what happened in the last few hours, RTVE’s legal services are collecting all the information to undertake the legal actions they consider appropriate in defense of the interests of the artists and the Corporation. Thanks for your cooperation”.
The 16 candidates for Benidorm Fest, which will be held in January, are: Almacor, Angy Fernández, Dellacruz, Jorge González, Lérica, Mantra, María Peláe, Marlena, Miss Caffeina, Nebulossa, Noan, Quique Niza, Roger Padrós, Sofia Coll, St. Pedro and Yoly Saa. The name of the songs was also previously leaked, revealing that María Peláe’s song can be officially found on Spotify. It’s called ‘Sender’ and lasts 4 and a half minutes, so we assume there will be an “edit.” You can find all the latest news on this topic in the Benidorm Fest forum of JENESAISPOP
