Roundtables at Jimmy Jazz’s 15th anniversary

The Vitoria-based Jimmy Jazz venue is adding four round tables on topics that “interest and concern” them to its special anniversary programme.

The Jimmy Jazz club in Vitoria-Gasteiz presents four round tables as a complement to the programming of its 15th anniversary, which has been running since December of last year. The first event will be held on October 21 with the theme “Festivals, macro-festivals and everything that surrounds them”in which journalists such as Jon Urzelai and Nando Cruz will participate, as well as industry professionals such as Marcos Ayuken and Sergio Cruzado. The next date will be on October 28th on “Art & Politics”, with the participation of Mikel Cthulhu (Cosmic Tentacles Studio), Itziar Ituño (actress and singer), Fermin Muguruza (musician and film director), Kattalin Barcena (singer and artist), Ion Celestino (musical craftsman) and Elio Toffana (musician and actor). The third date will be on November 4th with the title “Zer da Euskal Eszena? Does it exist?” (What is the Basque scene? Does it exist?), with the participation of the journalist Koldo Otamendi “Kojo” and the musicians Eneritz Furyak, Joseba B Lenoir, Julen Idigoras, Beñat Rodrigo “Kiliki Frexko” and Amets Aranguren. And finally, on November 11th, the round table on “Copyright, AI, Spotify…Where are we going? will feature the presence of Ainara Legardon (artist and researcher), Javi Cosmea (Musician and product manager at Virgin) and Josu Larrinaga Arza (professor of Anthropology at the UPV-EHU).

All round tables, which will be free to enter until full capacity is reached, will be held in Spanish, except for the third one on the Basque scene.
