Rosalía, volunteer in Valencia; new concerts by DANA

Rosalía has traveled to Llocnou de la Corona, one of the areas most affected by the passage of DANA in the Valencian Community, together with the team of chef José Andrés and his organization World Central Kitchen. As another volunteer, the Catalan artist has been collaborating in the reconstruction and food distribution efforts.

The author of ‘MOTOMAMI’ has not shared any photographs of her work on her social networks. However, it did not take long for them to be filled with videos and images of the singer working alongside health teams and chef José Andrés, mainly unloading food trucks.

The world of culture continues to be involved with the catastrophe in Valencia, organizing several initiatives to raise funds with the aim of helping the victims of DANA.

Som Valéncia, for which nearly 350 artists will perform charity concerts throughout Spain, today revealed who will perform in each city and has put tickets on sale. So far, 186,000 euros have been raised. There will be concerts in Madrid, Catalonia, Andalusia, Euskal Herria, Galicia, Aragón, Castilla y León, La Rioja, Asturias and the Balearic Islands. You can now consult the programming for each city and venue. All shows have a price of between 15 and 20 euros, which will go entirely to the affected population through the Horta Salud Foundation.

Amaral, Arde Bogotá, Dani Fernández, David Bisbal, Hijos de la Ruina (Natos, Waor & Recycled J), Malú, Pablo Alborán, Raphael, Rozalén, Sole Giménez, Vanesa Martín and Viva Sweden join the ‘Music from the Corazón’, a solidarity concert that will be held at the Wizink Center on November 24. Tickets will be on sale this Friday, November 8, starting at 12 noon on the Wizink Center website, with prices starting at 30 euros.

Bigsound Festival will hold a charity auction in which the public will be able to get products from their favorite artists while helping citizens affected by DANA, who will receive 100% of the proceeds. Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, C. Tangana, Myke Towers, Bad Gyal, Saiko, Lola Índigo, Juan Magán, Omar Montes, Ana Mena, Cali y el Dandee, Ptazeta, Abraham Mateo, Álvaro de Luna, Nil Moliner, Belén Aguilera and further. The auction can be accessed next Monday, November 11, through the festival website.

Finally, the charity concert ‘Cantar Para Ayudar’ will take place on November 13 at the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid with performances by Besmaya, Alex Wall, Inazio, Marlon, Paula Mattheus, Pavlenha and Siloé, among others. All profits, both from ticket sales and bar sales, will go entirely to the Valencian Charity Association. Tickets are now available from 15 euros. The track ones are already sold out and the grandstand ones are 50% sold out.
