The Andalusian promoter Rootsound celebrates two decades April 25 in it CajaGranada Theater with Natalia Doco, Nickodemus, Mr. ID and Throes + The Shine at the head of a poster that crosses continents, tradition and electronics.
There are projects that are better explained by dancing them than by reading them. Rootsound is one of them. Twenty years after beginning to build bridges between scenes, territories and ways of understanding roots music, the Granada agency celebrates its anniversary as it knows best: with a poster that functions as a map and declaration of intentions at the same time.

The most physical pulse will be Throes + The Shineregulars on stages who don’t understand half measures, and who return to Granada with that live show that turns any venue into a small earthquake. Completing the lineup are names like Pahua either Cosmic Wachotogether with a local representation that is not anecdotal but structural, The 300, Vinyl Von Bismark in DJ set format, Tony Moreno (Eskorzo voice) and Nestior DJwith Jihan as a common thread of the night.
But reducing it to a poster would be an understatement. For two decades, Rootsound has built a way of working where music coexists with the territory, gastronomy and a certain idea of community. Hence the anniversary also expands off stage.
