Roland Hybrid Drums: From the studio to the stage

Joe Clegg and Adam Marcello

Roland Hybrid Drums: From Studio to Stage are a series of videos that Roland has published to take away the fear of using live digital environments.

Joe Clegg, drummer and musical director of Ellie Goulding and Adam Marcello, drummer and musical director of Katy Perry, are two of the main batteries from the world of pop. Hybrid drums have become an essential and indispensable tool in their musical careers, defending their power to offer incredible live performances.

Under the Roland umbrella, they have released some videos where they teach you in all kinds of detail how to integrate padstriggers and digital samples in your set-up. From the selection process and editing of samples to their integration into your live performance, they explain in a simple way how to integrate the best of both worlds. Of course, the videos are in English, so command of David Bowie’s language is required.
