Scorpions and Europe lead the Rockland Art Fest which will take place from July 19-21 in Saint Dominic of the Causeway (The Rioja).
The new edition of the Rockland Art Fest will once again fill the Riojan town of Santo Domingo de la Calzada with music from July 19 to 21. Its varied lineup, which includes a dozen concerts plus a DJ session to close both evenings, is headlined by two legendary rock bands, the Germans Scorpions and the Swedes Europewho will delight us with great classics such as “Rock You Like A Hurricane”, “Still loving you” or “Wind of change” from the former, or “Rock The Night”, “The Final Countdown” or “Superstitious” from the latter.
Along with these two historic bands, the lineup will feature an explosive and varied musical cocktail: the talented British singer and guitarist Michael Kiwanuka; the London post-punk band Shame; the people of Vitoria Alcoholic Societypresenting new album; The Drugswhich continues celebrating the fortieth anniversary of Barricade; the British quartet Crawlersthe Californians Dead Posey; and Riojan artists such as Oslo UFOs and Flight 505. He DJ Cesar Gallard will be in charge of extending the night after the performances.
The Saturday and Sunday sessions will feature a Rocker Vermouth with the performances of Does not matter the first day and The Sexpeares the second.
Otherwise, there will be punk rock, alternative rock, metal and above all, a lot of energy.
