Robyn returns with ‘Dopamine’ this Wednesday

Robyn has announced that her new single ‘Dopamine’ is out this Wednesday 12th November. This Sunday, the Swedish singer had promised a “surprise” for the week ahead and had opened a registration for exclusive content. When sending a phone number, an SMS arrived with the phrase “I’m tripping with your chemistry”, which seems to be directly related to ‘Dopamine’.

Given the title and lyrics, ‘Dopamine’ could be Robyn’s definitive return to the dance floor, 15 years after ‘Body Talk’ (2010). We will have to wait to listen to him and discover his proposal.

At the end of last September, statements by producer Klas Åhlund emerged according to which Robyn’s new album would be finished.

‘Dopamine’ will presumably be the first taste of Robyn’s next album, her first in 8 years. This is the time that has passed since the release of ‘Honey’ in 2018. Since then, Robyn has been a mother and has released collaborations with Charli xcx (the ‘360’ remix) or Jamie xx (‘Life’). He has also performed with David Byrne at the 50th anniversary of Saturday Night Live and with Gracie Abrams at Lollapalooza.
