For the first time, a festival with nationally renowned bands is being held in Reus. RMF (Reus Music Festival) This weekend will feature artists such as Oques Grasses, The Blue House, Shinova either Siloam.
Throughout the days September 6-8the Parc de la Festa, in the Catalan town of Reus, will host a new festival called RMF, which aims to become a reference point for southern Catalonia with a selection of artists and different activities, putting the town on the cultural map.
Among the event’s proposals, we can highlight a gastronomic area, tasting of local drinks or the Paripé Tardeo party (September 8), focused on dancing and Catalan rumba. But if we focus on the musical part, the line-up will be made up of: Shinova, The Blue House and Siloé (September 6, capacity for 5,000 people), Oques Grasses, Elena Garcia and Boye (September 7, capacity for 10,000 people) and finally on September 8, the Paripé Tardeo party that we mentioned a few lines above and which will have a capacity for 3,000 people.
The concert at Oques Grasses will be the only one the band will offer during the rest of the season in Tarragona. On the other hand, in the Village –in the same Parc de la Festa– there will be performances by emerging female artists to give visibility to local talent. It will be in collaboration with the Casa de la Música de Reus.
