Rita Payés already has her well-deserved “Tiny Desk Concert”

Rita Payes continues to take important steps forward in his career. Now he has presented his album “From the Road to the Road” no less than in a NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert.

Daughter of musicians, Rita Payés has been consolidating a career that started from jazz to embrace different styles and luxury collaborations such as those with C. Tangana, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Silvana Estrada or Jon Batistehence its name has been spreading step by step.

Now, in addition, Rita Payés joins the list of artists in our country who have a Tiny Desk and among whom we can mention C. Tangana and Sílvia Pérez Cruz, but also María José Llergo, Concha Buika, Diego El Cigala and Omar Montes.

In total, Rita Payés performs four songs (“El Cervatillo”, “Por qué sera”, “Nana per les mamas” and “Quien lo dice”), although it is not exactly a solo performance, but she is accompanied by Pol Batlle (guitar), Elisabeth Roma (guitar), Horacio Fumero (double bass), Juan R. Berbín (drums), Jonathan David Lewis (violin), Turkkan Osman (violin), Anna Arnal Ferrer (viola) and Cristina Arista (cello) .
